Although SOA has reached the point where it generally is considered to be a good idea, BEA's deputy CTO Theo Beack is concerned that much of the resources dedicated to the modern enterprise infrastructure are underutilised, reports SOA World.

 "There is much untapped potential within the typical enterprise. This is where the combination of SOA and virtualisation appears to be a natural fit," he notes.

Beack will present this week to the delegation in San Francisco attending the SOA World Conference & Expo 2007, co-located with Virtualisation Conference & Expo 2007, at the Grand Hyatt San Francisco.
