More than three-quarters of IT professionals working on SOA projects say their current SOA Governance ‘not sufficient,’ according to an October survey by the SOA Forum. So, how uncomfortable are IT pros about that? Maybe a lot more than you think.
More than 80% of survey respondents admitted they are uneasy about their lack of governance or automated review capabilities. In one exemplary response, the survey found “significant dissatisfaction” at the prospect that a Registry/Repository might be deployed without policy management and automated enforcement.
The online survey was sent to all 1,500 members of the SOA Forum, a global forum of technical professionals from Fortune 500 companies and government agencies.
