The SOA Consortium, a group of vendors and other organizations aimed at promoting the use of service-oriented architecture, is continuing to grow, with 31 new members joining since May 1.
The additions bring the total number of participants to more than 50 in the less than six months since the group started.
The SOA Consortium, based in Needham, Mass., is an advocacy group of end users, service providers and technology vendors committed to helping the Global 1000 successfully adopt SOA by 2010. Founding sponsors are BEA Systems, Cisco Systems, IBM and SAP.
