IT practitioners from a broad range of industries today joined with end user corporations, leading technology suppliers, standards organizations and the global stakeholder community to formally establish the IC SOA. The Integration Consortium™ (IC™), a non partisan industry body will sponsor the platform and infrastructure to foster the IC SOA collaboration community. The IC also announces significant changes to their membership structure so that participation in the collaboration platform will be open and accessible to all SOA stakeholders.

The IC SOA is a global community of practice comprised of information technology leaders dedicated to the ideals of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) as the prevalent IT-model for transforming business and improving IT practices. The IC SOA will explore the value of SOA by sharing and delivering real world experiences among like minded peers.
