StrikeIron Offers Gale Data Enrichment on Salesforce.com’s AppExchange

In-depth financial and corporate information on hundreds of thousands of companies can now be integrated directly into sales leads for more informed selling.

StrikeIron Inc., the leading provider of Data as a Service (DaaS), today announced that salesforce.com customers can now access and append Gale Business Intelligence data directly into their Salesforce CRM applications. This data enrichment solution leverages the Gale Business Intelligence Web Service from StrikeIron, enabling Salesforce users to instantly leverage timely and valuable company information from the Gale, part of Cengage Learning, in sales and prospecting efforts.

The Gale Business Intelligence Web Service provides in-depth financial and corporate information on approximately 440,000 U.S. and international companies. Now, this data can easily be accessed via salesforce.com’s AppExchange and integrated directly into all records within Salesforce. Features include:

  • Set up by a Salesforce Administrator in less than five minutes
  • Delivers key corporate information such as ticker symbol; SIC code, key executives/officers, variant company names, brands, products, and historical sales/revenue information
  • Full source code provided so developers optionally can easily modify the Salesforce integration code and customize the solution.
