Attend this webinar and learn how a large retail company with a growing number of shops and a growing palette of goods replaced an outdated, end-of-day batch file transfer pattern to an architecture that would allow real time processing.
One of the more difficult challenges of building an enterprise system is designing for scalability. It is often skipped in the proof-of-concept stage of development, and it requires product-specific knowledge and experience. In this webinar, the FUSE team, developers of FUSE ESB 4 which is based on Apache ServiceMix 4, will share their real-world experiences and insights about successful large scale implementations of ServiceMix, including their experiences with a large retailer with over 2000 stores throughout 6 European countries.
The retailer that will be highlighted in the case study has a central ERP system (based on SAP) that serves as the master database for all product and pricing information, and performs all disposition tasks required to optimize the delivery of goods to each retail outlet. Data collected by the shops is then used by the ERP system to perform the disposition tasks, and pricing decisions are distributed to the shops.
Learn how you can:
- Successfully implement a large scale deployment of ServiceMix 4
- Create an architecture that supports real time delivery of data
- Design for speed and flexibility
